Hotel Ambit Barcelona

I was almost going to give a good review, but unfortunately, breakfast was most definitely too overpriced for such mediocre offerings, and the staff clearly didn't care about their cleanliness at all. I also expected a complimentary welcome gift for my inconvenience, but apparently, that's too much to ask. Just sad, really.

Well, it was an unforgettable stay for our first visit to Barcelona.

I had a good stay at the Ambit. The breakfast buffet offered a fantastic variety, including local delicacies. My room on the second floor was clean and had easy access to attractions. While the school nearby made for some afternoon noise, the great windows effectively blocked it out.

Good location, you can walk to various attractions, near the subway, many cafes and restaurants. hotel is small, clean venue, quiet. Nice beds, excellent friendly staff.

Spotlessly clean and ideal place with top-class and professional staff. Plentiful breakfast with plenty of options to choose from. Quiet location in a particularly nice area so close to beautiful Barcelona, Placa de Catalunya and the metro and catalunya square. Again, not far from a prominent central square. Hot drinks at honesty bar, very good service. Everything very good.

The location is very convenient, just a few minutes' walk from the metro and close to many attractions like Casa Batlló. The room was clean and had a comfortable bed, perfect for two people. The air conditioning worked well, essential given the summer heat. I appreciated the small balcony facing the street. It offered a nice view and fresh air. I did notice that the TV didn't have any English-speaking channels, disappointing during downtime. The breakfast buffet had a good variety of tasty options and was served in a lovely area with an outdoor patio, although the layout seemed a bit cramped at times. One issue I encountered was some inconsistent hot water supply in the shower, which could be annoying. The staff members were nice and helpful, but I think they could improve responsiveness during busy times. The hotel atmosphere is overall pleasant, with a cozy lounge area where I enjoyed some downtime. I would likely consider a return visit but hope some small improvements are made.

Comfortable Stay with Great Breakfast

The outdoor terrace for breakfast made mornings special. Staff were attentive, especially one very nice server who brightened up my mornings. Just a heads up, noise might be an issue during summer nights from nearby bars. Consider bringing earplugs.

I appreciated the hotel's elegant boutique style, with comfortable common areas and a lovely garden. The cleanliness and modern decor, so important for a pleasant stay.

Comfortable room, fantastic location, with the metro station just a 5-minute walk away and an inviting outdoor terrace for breakfast that added a special touch to my mornings.
